National Fire Safety Week 2012

National Fire Safety week will run from Monday the 1^st to Monday the 8^th of October 2012. The theme for this year is “Protecting People Most at Risk from Fire”

Deaths from fires and burns are the third leading cause of fatal home injury. Although the number of fatalities and injuries caused by residential fires has declined gradually over the past several decades, many residential fire-related deaths remain preventable.
