Fore: Exploring the Landscape

Súil Productions have just developed a new film documentary on Fore entitled Fore: Exploring the Landscape.The documentary explores the landscape of the medieval monastic settlement. It details the journey of the life of St. Fechin who founded and established his monastic community and investigates the construction of the Benedictine priory. The audience can follow and explore the legendary seven wonders and myths of Fore. This film would appeal those who are familiar with the monastery and those who have never had a chance to visit the site.


Súil productions aim to create awareness of Irish sites of significant historical and archaeological importance through the medium of documentary. They offer a new way for tourists and visitors to view, interpret and experience some of Ireland’s most stunning sites, as well as providing a memorable souvenir of their time at these sites.
